Bachchan family has threatened not to perticipate the prestigious Filmfare awards on Saturday evening, unless the Mumbai Mirror publishes a formal apology for spreading "false" news about Aishwarya Rai's health.
The Mumbai Mirror and Filmfare both belong to the Times Group. Aishwarya Rai, who was supposed to perform at the event, has decided to pull out. The Bachchans have also sent a legal notice to the editor of Mumbai Mirror, seeking a retraction and apology.

Hollywood filmmakers are now lining up to cast Hrithik Roshan in their films after watching the promos of ‘Kites’ with hot co-star Barbara Mori.
Earlier, there was news that Hrithik Roshan would act in a Hollywood film titled ‘Aditya’, to be produced by LA-based James Killough and to be directed by Tarsem Singh, but the film has reportedly been scrapped.
However, there is no dearth of Hollywood offers for Hrithik Roshan after ‘Kites’ promos and trailers hit screens. “Hrithik and Barbara have ignited a never-seen-before passion on screen. This has particularly caught the eye of many Hollywood directors,” said a source to a news daily.
“These offers have come in just early this week. Hrithik is dwelling on them,” added the source.
Papa Rakesh Roshan also did not deny the story and Hrithik Roshan’s official spokesperson confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Hrithik has been getting a lot of feelers from Hollywood recently.”
So, Hrithik Roshan is all set to go to Hollywood and he ought to be thankful to Barbara Mori for this.

Ranbir Kapoor is apparently too keen to get back in Deepika Padukone's life and Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are possibly reconciling. Hollywood actress Sarah Jessica Parker's new fragrance, SJP NYC, has been designed as a 'snapshot of Carrie Bradshaw', her character from the hit 'Sex and the City' series.
The actress who plays Bradshaw in both the TV series and movie says her latest fragrance, SJP NYC, was designed as a homage to the vision of her character, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Parker also said she was surprised when the ingredients for the fragrance came together, as it is concocted of scents - wild strawberry with gardenia and vanilla - she wouldn't usually choose.
SJP NYC comes in a multi-print bottle inspired by the custom-designed Oscar de la Renta dress Parker wears in the ad campaign for the fragrance.

According to our birdies, director Anil Sharma, the man behind Veer, will next give out a comedy film, featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
It is heard that before staring on mega-budget period film, the director had plans to give a hilarious project. However, after Salman Khan pressed on with ‘Veer’, Anil left behind his plans.
Now that everything is well settled, the director is gearing to bring up the romantic-comedy film. And he seems to be confident that this project will be his one of the best.
We really hope these rumours materialize… After all who wouldn’t want to see this real-life couple on screen…

There was buzz that director Kunal Deshmukh and Kangna Ranaut are an item. If that’s true, then Dino Morea must have rocked their love boat! The pictures of Kangna Ranaut and Dino Morea, in what looked like a passionate kiss was harmless according to Kangna Ranaut.
“I know Dino for a while now. We’ve met socially and even had a few laughs but to make it seem like there is something more is terrible,” says Kangna Ranaut. Kangna also adds, “I’m done with relationships.
I have 10 movies to complete this year, and will perhaps take on another dozen next year. What I’m trying to say is that I’m completely swamped by work. I have no desire to get into another relationship. I’m done with those.”
Kangna Ranaut says the next time she dates a man, it will have to lead to a walk up the altar. “Marriage is what it will be,” says Kangna, adding, “I may marry three years down the line or perhaps even five years down the line. But I’m certainly not interested in the dating scene.”
